OSU should drop Terrelle Pryor from team for good
The scrutiny over what cars Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor has driven, and just how many OSU players have participated in “Tattoogate” is obviously an ongoing investigation.
Ohio State will likely be hit with harsh sanctions when the NCAA is scheduled to have its hearing with the Buckeyes Aug. 12 and Pryor’s eligibility could be nixed. That is, if the quarterback doesn’t leave school and enroll in a supplemental NFL draft this summer.
The scrutiny surrounding Pryor will continue to intensity, with some people unfairly putting most of the blame on him.
If there were dozens of players trading memorabilia for benefits, it’s not fair for Pryor to take most of the heat. Still, it doesn’t look good that he’s also driven a variety of different cars while at OSU.
I agree with former Buckeye stars Chris Spielman and Eddie George, who say Pryor should be kicked off the team for good. It appears he was one of the most serious rule violators and OSU needs to start fresh going forward under interim head coach Luke Fickell.
Pryor is already going to miss the first five games due to suspension for “Tattoogate.” Start building for the future with another quarterback.
What do Daily Record readers think OSU should do with Pryor? Do you think he will ever take another snap for the Buckeyes?

I have a family member in the Athletic Department at OSU and they knew Pryor wasn’t coming back after Tressel left. They’ve also heard rumblings that Pryor was involved in more allegations besides “tattogate” and the cars, so watch out for those breaking news on ESPN as OSU continues to get dragged through the mud. I just hope when the dust settles that the NCAA takes a good hard look at the rules because all this could have been avoided with a student-athlete stipend.
